Online Security

Putting good customer outcomes at the heart of everything we do

Online Security

We use measures designed to help protect your online banking information and reduce the risk of unauthorised access. Our Internet Banking service includes security features to help protect your account and support safer online banking.

How we help protect your online banking

Our Internet Banking service is hosted on an encrypted server. Encryption converts information into an encoded format before it is sent over the internet.

If you do not use the service for a period of time, you will be logged out automatically. This helps protect your account if you leave your device without logging out.

If you enter incorrect login details several times, access to Internet Banking will be disabled. This helps reduce the risk of repeated unauthorised attempts to access your account.

Additional authentication for payments

To help protect customers making payments through Internet Banking, we use an additional authentication step. Customers making payments are required to use a digital token on their mobile device to generate a one-time passcode, which is used to authorise payments.

What you can do

Please keep your login details secure and do not share them with anyone. Be cautious if you receive an unexpected message, email, text message or phone call asking for your banking or security details.

If you think your login details may have been compromised, change your password as soon as possible and contact us immediately. If you are unable to access Internet Banking or need more information about the service, please email [email protected].
